I made up the doors because when I originally posed these in my studio they were hung on a piece of plywood.  This painting is very much in the tradition of the many great American Trompe-l’oeil artists such as Charles Wilson Peale, John Peto, William Harnett, John Haberle.. and others who were mostly from Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts.  My painting is all original and was created in the spirit of those great 17\u003csup\u003eth\u003c\/sup\u003e and 18\u003csup\u003eth\u003c\/sup\u003e century American Trompe-l’oeil painters.\u003co:p\u003e\u003c\/o:p\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Mark Young","offers":[{"title":"36x36 \/ Oil","offer_id":44015750545542,"sku":"101673","price":6500.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0992\/8352\/files\/Violin1.jpg?v=1779902112","url":"https:\/\/thelittlegalleryva.com\/products\/mark-young-violin-trompe-loeil-with-abraham-lincoln","provider":"The Little Gallery - Virginia","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
