Join us for refreshments by Friends of The Blue Ridge Parkway and meet/greet with Judy Crane and view her beautiful new collection of works!
Judy has worked as a professional artist for more than 30 years. She maintains an open studio in down town Raleigh NC where she does her larger paintings.  Her works are held in numerous corporate and private collections including SAS institute, Duke University hospitals, IBM, Cisco Systems, GlaxoSmithKline, Duke Energy, The State of NC , Elon University,  The Greater Raleigh Visitors Center, and many others. She been featured in several solo exhibitions as well as participating in numerous invitational and juried exhibitions.

Join us for refreshments by Friends of The Blue Ridge Parkway and view Charles Nivens' refreshing and vibrant collection of works! All the way from Atlanta, GA, Charles Nivens is an American Artist with over 35 years of professional experience and has devoted much of his life to honing his artistic ability and technique. 

Using pallet knife and brush, the artist transforms canvas, vibrant colors, and textures into contemporary masterpieces. Each painting is unique. The artist invites you to pause momentarily to explore, discover, and appreciate not only the artistic interpretations herein, but the potential masterpiece of life that surround us on any given day.

Join us at The Little Gallery at 301 Market St, Roanoke VA 24011 (540-206-2936) to meet with  Ed Hatch and see his beautiful new collection of work.  Ed will be here to talk with our guests and The Friends of The Blue Ridge Parkway will be serving up tapas and bubbly during the event! 
The Little Gallery will be filled with many of Ed's beautiful waterscapes and landscapes that chronicle his outdoor adventures.  
This avid outdoors-man and incredible artist has a passion for painting outdoor scenes that include water, such as streams, rivers and Chesapeake marshes.   Widely recognized for his realism in depicting wildlife, Ed is also know for his landscapes of rural areas around the states of Virginia and Maryland.  
Ed's work adorns galleries all over the east coast and many private and corporate collections.  He has been awarded many honors and featured in a number of publications which include:

 Featuring Scott Harris Aluminum Artist!

Join us for Art by Night May 3, 6pm-9pm for refreshments and meet aluminum artist Scott Harris!
Scott Harris is an aluminum artist and sculptor working and showing primarily in the southeast. Born in Fargo, North Dakota, Scott re-located to the mountains of NC in 1996. He completed his BA in Visual Arts from Brevard College with an emphasis in both painting and sculpture. It was there he first experimented with painting on aluminum due to its flexible surface. As the process evolved, he discovered the reflective quality of the material added depth and movement to his art. Scott's artwork has great exposure by and is represented by many galleries in VA, NC, GA, FL, WI and ND. He has private and corporate collectors all over the Unite States.

Stop by to meet Julia and see her beautiful Plein Air Paintings.

Whatever subject Julia Lesnichy investigates, she often finds herself inspired by fast-changing light and color in nature. She is captivated by the colors she sees depending on the time of the day and season and resorts to oils and pastels to capture these fleeting moments. She often finishes her plein air paintings in her studio in Crozet, which is located in a quiet, rural area in Virginia.

We are very proud to have the opportunity to exhibit Robert Sarsony's private pin-up collection at The Little Gallery in Roanoke. Many of these paintings have never been seen. 
Bring your Valentines sweetie out for a date night and join us for refreshments on Friday, February 1, at 6pm (First Friday's Art By Night) to take a trip to the past, prior to the digital age and back to the golden age of the 1950s and 60s.
