Brian Wells

Photography has long been a passion for Brian, ranking right alongside his full-time profession in hospitality. Throughout his career, he has combined these two worlds by using his creative eye to support the places and communities he serves.
In each locale where he has lived and worked, Brian has served as a lead volunteer photographer, helping promote tourism while elevating the art and storytelling of photography. His work focuses on capturing a strong sense of place—highlighting landscapes, architecture, and the moments that invite people to explore and connect.
Currently, Brian is a regularly contributing photographer for the National Park Service on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the most visited national park in the United States. Previously, he photographed for Sarah P. Duke Gardens in Durham, North Carolina, a Duke University property and the most visited attraction in Durham. His images have been used to showcase the gardens’ seasonal beauty, educational mission, and enduring appeal to visitors from around the region and beyond.
