"Driven by Design" began with a visit to the Saratoga Automobile Museum—a place I entered with curiosity, not a background in cars. But what I encountered there surprised me. The curves, colors, textures, and values of the vehicles were mesmerizing. I wasn’t just looking at machines—I was seeing sculpture, elegance, and intentional design.

This series represents my response to those impressions. Rooted in realism but energized by bold color and abstraction, these paintings explore the relationship between precision and emotion, between industrial form and artistic expression. I’ve fused meticulous rendering with my interest in color theory and modern composition, creating a visual language that reflects how these machines feel, not just how they look.

Ultimately, Driven by Design is less about automobiles and more about the power of design to inspire. These works honor the unexpected beauty I found in chrome and curvature—inviting viewers to see it, too.
